Community and guide estimates typically put it well over 150 hours and often closer to 200-300 depending on how efficiently you handle the online portion. The difficulty is generally rated around 6/10: almost nothing here needs elite skill, but it is a marathon of collectibles, animals to study, challenges, side quests and mission objectives, and the sheer scale is the real obstacle rather than any single hard trophy.
Two things trip players up most. First, missables: a cluster of story trophies revolve around camp life and helping gang members (for example Errand Boy, Friends With Benefits and Give to the Poor), and these opportunities disappear as the story advances, so they should be knocked out early.
