Diablo IV is not especially demanding to run at 1080p; the minimum tier reaches back to GTX 660 / i5-2500K-era hardware, and the recommended tier (GTX 970 / GTX 1070-class) comfortably hits 1080p60 on medium-to-high. Blizzard also publishes higher 'Ultra 4K' guidance (Core i7-8700K / Ryzen 7 2700X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 / RX 6800 XT) for 4K/60 ultra. The biggest practical requirement is an SSD and 16 GB of RAM to avoid texture streaming stutter, plus a constant broadband connection because the game is always-online. The game will attempt to launch on below-minimum hardware (HDDs, dual-core CPUs, integrated GPUs) but the experience is degraded. On Steam Deck the game runs but is officially Unsupported/Playable rather than Verified, largely due to the always-online requirement and small-text UI.
