Crossplay is not applicable to Hogwarts Legacy because the game has no online or multiplayer component at all. It is a fully solo action-RPG that can be played completely offline, so there is nothing to play cross-platform. There is no co-op, no shared world, no PvP and no cross-progression or cloud save transfer between platforms either: buying it on PS5 does not carry your save to PC, and vice versa. Avalanche and Warner Bros. designed it as a single-player experience and have repeatedly said there are no plans to add multiplayer. So questions about 'is Hogwarts Legacy crossplay' really come down to: it's single-player only, so the concept does not apply. If you want to play on multiple platforms you must buy the game on each and start (or manually re-do) your progress separately.
