Is Hogwarts Legacy on Game Pass or PS Plus?
As of July 2026, Hogwarts Legacy is on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass (Premium/Ultimate tiers only) and has been in the PS Plus Extra/Premium catalog since April 2025, though that PlayStation listing may rotate out at any time. It is not on EA Play.

Hogwarts Legacy launched in February 2023 with no subscription deal, so for its first two years the only way to play was to buy it. That changed in 2025: Sony added it to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog on 15 April 2025, and Microsoft brought it to Xbox Game Pass on 1 October 2025 as part of the big Game Pass tier overhaul (Essential/Premium/Ultimate). On Game Pass it sits on the Premium and Ultimate tiers only - Essential subscribers do not get it - and because it is now a Play Anywhere title it is playable through both console and PC Game Pass. It has never been on EA Play, which only carries Electronic Arts titles.
Because these are rotating catalogs, none of this is permanent. The PlayStation Plus listing in particular has been repeatedly flagged as a likely 'leaving soon' candidate since it passed its first year, so it could drop out of Extra/Premium with little notice, and Game Pass tiering can shift too. Treat every status here as a snapshot as of July 2026 rather than a guarantee. Before you subscribe just to play Hogwarts Legacy, open the live Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus apps (or the game's store page) and confirm it is still included on your platform and tier - that is the only fully reliable source at any given moment.
