God of War Ragnarök is a well-optimized port with a wide range of scalable settings, so the demands are reasonable for the visuals. Minimum specs (a GTX 1060 6 GB with 8 GB RAM) will get you 720p/30 fps, while the recommended tier (RTX 2060 Super / RX 5700, 16 GB RAM) targets a smooth 1080p/60. Santa Monica also published higher 'High', 'Ultra' and '4K' tiers requiring RTX 3080/4080-class GPUs for maxed 1440p/4K, and the game supports NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS upscaling plus ultrawide and unlocked frame rates. Two practical notes: an SSD is strongly recommended because of streaming and the huge install, and the PC version requires linking a (free) PlayStation Network account, which is enforced in supported countries. The game is rated Steam Deck Verified and runs nicely on the Deck. If you are upgrading, 16 GB of RAM and any 8 GB-VRAM modern GPU will comfortably clear recommended settings.
