No cross-platform play (single-player game)

Crossplay does not apply to God of War Ragnarök because the game is entirely single-player with no multiplayer, co-op or online modes. That includes the free Valhalla DLC, which is also solo. Since there is nothing to play together, there is no cross-platform matchmaking, no shared world and no cross-play of any kind between PC, PS5 and PS4. There is also no official cross-save/cross-progression between platforms: buying the PC version does not import your PlayStation save, so if you switch platforms you start over. The one online-adjacent detail is that the PC release requires linking a free PlayStation Network account, but that is an account/login requirement, not multiplayer. In short, whether you are on PS5, PS4 or PC, God of War Ragnarök is a self-contained single-player campaign.
