Helldivers 2 is moderately demanding but scales well. The minimum tier (GTX 1050 Ti / RX 470, i7-4790K or Ryzen 5 1500X, 8 GB RAM) gets you into the game at lower settings, while the recommended tier (RTX 2060 / RX 6600 XT, i7-9700K or Ryzen 7 3700X, 16 GB RAM) targets a smooth experience at higher settings. The engine (a revived Autodesk Stingray/Bitsquid) can be CPU-heavy in chaotic late-game firefights with dozens of enemies and particle-heavy stratagems, so a stronger CPU and 16 GB of RAM help more than you'd expect. An SSD is strongly recommended. The game is always-online, so a stable broadband connection is mandatory. There is no offline or single-player mode. It is playable on Steam Deck though not officially Verified, with battery life and sustained performance being the main compromises.
