CD Projekt Red publishes several tiers, so match the spec to how you want to play. The two shown are the non-ray-tracing Minimum (Low, 1080p/30) and Recommended (High, 1080p/60). Above those, CDPR lists dedicated ray-tracing tiers: Ray Tracing Minimum (RTX 2060, 16 GB RAM, RT Low 1080p/30), Ray Tracing Ultra (RTX 3080 Ti or RX 7900 XTX, 20 GB RAM, RT Ultra 1080p/60) and the extreme Ray Tracing Overdrive path-tracing preset (RTX 4080, 24 GB RAM, targeting 2160p/60), which needs a fast NVMe SSD. An SSD is mandatory across the board. In short, the game is very scalable: a GTX 1060-class card handles a solid 1080p experience, while full path tracing demands top-end current hardware plus upscaling (DLSS/FSR). Cyberpunk 2077 is officially Steam Deck Verified, running well at ~30 fps with the tuned Steam Deck preset.
