GTA 6 is a current-generation-only release. Rockstar has confirmed just two launch platforms: PlayStation 5 — including the PS5 Pro — and Xbox Series X|S. Both editions, Standard and Ultimate, run on those consoles and unlock at the same moment on November 19, 2026.
There is no last-gen version. PS4 and Xbox One are not supported, which is a break from GTA V (that game shipped on PS3/Xbox 360 first). If you're still on a PS4 or Xbox One, playing GTA 6 at launch means upgrading to a PS5 or Xbox Series console.
There is no Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version announced, and given the game's scale a Switch release is not expected. Rockstar has said nothing about handheld or cloud versions either — treat any such claim as unconfirmed.
PC is the big open question. Rockstar has not announced a PC version, a PC release date, or system requirements. Historically GTA games reach PC roughly a year or more after console launch, and some outlets speculate an early-2027 PC port — but that is rumor, not a Rockstar statement.
