What is the difference between Standard and Ultimate?
Ultimate costs $20 more and adds premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and in-game shops. It does not include early access — everyone plays at launch.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
No PC version has been announced. At launch it is PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. An early-2027 PC port is rumored but unconfirmed.
Is GTA 6 on PS4 or Xbox One?
No. GTA 6 is a current-generation release: PS5 (including PS5 Pro) and Xbox Series X|S only.
Who are the GTA 6 main characters?
The two protagonists are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Lucia is the series' first non-optional female lead.
Where is GTA 6 set?
In the fictional state of Leonida — inspired by Florida — and a modern-day Vice City.
When did GTA 6 pre-orders open?
Pre-orders opened at midnight local time on June 25, 2026, on the PlayStation and Xbox stores.
What is the GTA 6 pre-order bonus?
Every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack. Any purchase before November 20, 2026, receives it.
Does the GTA 6 physical edition have a disc?
No. The physical edition is a code-in-box — a single-use download code, no disc.
When does GTA 6 preload start?
Digital preload begins November 12, 2026, one week before launch.
Does GTA 6 include GTA+?
Digital pre-orders include one free month of GTA+.
What time does GTA 6 unlock?
Rockstar has not announced the exact unlock hour. Reporting and the GTA V precedent point to around midnight Eastern / 05:00 UTC, but this is not yet official. Our countdown updates the moment it is confirmed.

Yes, twice — from a 2025 window to May 26, 2026, and finally to November 19, 2026.
