The Adventures of Elliot is a single-player action-RPG with an optional local (couch) two-player co-op mode, in which Player 2 controls the fairy Faie to provide support such as dashing and teleporting Elliot. There is no online multiplayer and no cross-platform play.

Co-op is local/offline only and is unlocked after clearing the first Shrine of the Mystic; because there is no online play, there is nothing to play across platforms. There is also no cross-save or cross-buy between the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox and Steam versions.
