Marvel's Wolverine has a confirmed release date: Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Sony and Insomniac Games locked it in at the June 2026 State of Play, and it's listed on the official PlayStation Store — so unlike a lot of upcoming games, this date is official, not a rumor.
It is a PS5 console exclusive. No PC version, and no PS4, Xbox or Switch release has been announced — at launch it is PlayStation 5 only, from the Insomniac team behind Marvel's Spider-Man. It's a single-player narrative action game, so there is no beta or early-access period to sign up for.
Pre-orders are already live. Physical Standard copies are at retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and GameStop, and the digital editions are on the PlayStation Store. Pre-ordering gets you a bonus — the Classic Brown Suit, Reflective Claws, a Technique Point and PSN avatars. The countdown above is set to the confirmed September 15 date and updates automatically.
