Marvel Rivals' install size has climbed steadily since launch, like most live-service shooters. At its December 2024 launch the download was roughly 36.58 GB on PS5 (which reserves around 40 GB of space), about 44.56 GB on Xbox Series X|S, and around 47.5 GB on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Since then, seasonal updates - new heroes, maps, and cosmetics arrive roughly every few weeks - have pushed the footprint far higher: by 2026 a major patch reportedly drove the PC install past 100 GB, with console sizes also growing. NetEase's official system requirements still list 70 GB of available space, but that figure predates much of the added content, so on PC it is wise to keep around 100 GB or more free to absorb the install plus temporary files during patching. An SSD is strongly recommended for faster loading and smoother texture streaming. Because the game updates so frequently, any single number is a snapshot; expect the real on-disk size to keep drifting upward over a season and to vary by a few GB across platforms and regions.
