End of Abyss is a dark sci-fi horror action-adventure and the debut release from Section 9 Interactive, a small Malmo, Sweden studio founded by former leads at Tarsier Studios (Little Nightmares). Players take the role of Cel, a young combat technician sent into a derelict underground facility to uncover what went wrong inside it. The game pairs atmospheric top-down exploration with tense, deliberate combat against the twisted creatures that now stalk its corridors.
The game launches on October 1, 2026, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through the Epic Games Store, published by Epic Games Publishing. The standard edition is priced at $29.99, and pre-orders are already live on each storefront. PlayStation Plus members have been offered a discount on the PS5 version ahead of launch.
