Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered is Koei Tecmo's modernized rebuild of the 2001 one-versus-thousands action classic, bundling the original Dynasty Warriors 3 together with its Xtreme Legends expansion. It rebuilds the Three Kingdoms battlefields with 4K Ultra HD visuals, HDR, and ultrawide monitor support. New combat options such as Evasion, Perfect Power Guard, and Weapon Fusion sit alongside the familiar musou action.
The remaster is confirmed for a worldwide launch on Thursday, October 1, 2026, after slipping from an earlier March 19, 2026 target. It arrives on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Standard Edition is priced at $39.99, with a Digital Deluxe Edition available for $69.99.
Longtime fans have waited years for a faithful yet updated return to one of the series' most beloved entries, and the delay only sharpened anticipation. A big draw is the ability to toggle each new mechanic individually, or flip everything at once with a Classic Settings option that recreates the original's feel.
