Crymelight is a roguelite action game and the third entry in FuRyu's dark bishoujo action "Cry" series, following Crystar and Crymachina. It trades the series' earlier action-RPG structure for run-based combat built around a card-based skill system inspired by poker hands. Players guide Alice, an amnesiac girl who repeatedly descends through the layers of Purgatory in a macabre take on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, confronting her sins to reclaim her memories and reach Rebirth.
The game launches on November 5, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. FuRyu has set the digital Standard Edition at $19.99, with a $39.99 Deluxe Edition that adds a six-item DLC set, a digital artbook, and more; physical Standard and "Tea Party Box" editions are planned for Japan and Asia. Digital pre-orders are already live on the PlayStation Store, and the game can be wishlisted on Steam.
The Cry series has earned a dedicated following for pairing stylish action with heavy, grief-and-guilt-laden storytelling, and Crymelight reimagines that formula as a roguelite promising roughly 20 to 30 hours of play. The move to deckbuilding and repeatable runs is the biggest structural shift the series has attempted so far. With a dark Wonderland aesthetic and a new heroine to unravel, fans are counting down to its November launch.
