Barbie Rewind is a compilation from Atari and developer Digital Eclipse that gathers 16 classic Barbie video games originally released between 1991 and 2007, restored and enhanced for modern hardware. The whole collection is wrapped inside a playable DreamHouse that acts as the main menu, which players can decorate with more than 250 pieces of furniture and decor while browsing the library of titles. The package even includes a previously unreleased game, Barbie: Vacation Adventure, built for the Super NES and Sega Genesis.
The collection is set to launch on November 12, 2026 across a wide spread of platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. A digital version is priced at $29.99, and standard physical editions are planned for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch at the same price, with a $59.99 Deluxe physical edition that adds an exclusive doll and a poster. Pre-orders are already available through Atari's own store.
Anticipation is building because Barbie Rewind sits at the intersection of nostalgia and preservation, giving a generation who grew up with these licensed titles a legitimate way to revisit them without hunting down old cartridges and discs. Digital Eclipse has a strong reputation for treating archival releases with care, and the DreamHouse hub and unreleased bonus game give even skeptical players a reason to look closer.
