Another Eden Begins is a standalone single-player JRPG from Wright Flyer Studios (WFS), developed at the newly formed Studio Prisma. It reworks the world of the long-running mobile RPG Another Eden into a complete offline adventure with no gacha pulls, energy timers, or online requirement. The project reunites director and writer Masato Kato with composer Yasunori Mitsuda, the pair behind Chrono Trigger and Xenogears, and follows the young hero Aldo after his sister Feinne is taken by the Beast King and he is thrown 800 years into the future.

The game launches worldwide on Thursday, September 17, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Every version ships digitally at launch, the console editions offer a Switch-to-Switch 2 upgrade path, and the game supports English, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. A Western physical edition from Aksys Games is set to follow in 2027, while Japanese physical and limited collector's sets are already up for pre-order.

Players have wanted a self-contained way to experience Another Eden's time-spanning story for years, and this release delivers it with enhanced visuals, full English voice acting, more than ten endings, and a New Game+. The turn-based combat and folk-inspired soundtrack have drawn long-time Chrono fans alongside newcomers who never touched the mobile game. Serial codes bundled with the console and PC versions also carry over into the original mobile title, giving veterans one more reason to count down to launch.
