Akashic Slingshot is a skill-driven action game set in a strange world called the Third, where your only weapon is a slingshot and a single hit can end your run. There are no power-ups, upgrades, or leveling systems, so progression comes entirely from mastering enemy patterns and your own aim. Across seven regions, from sprawling cityscapes to desolate wastelands, players face inventive foes and towering machine bosses whose weak points and attacks constantly shift.
Developer Jayden Everest has dated the launch for December 2, 2026, as listed on the game's Steam store page and highlighted during the Frosty Games Fest 2026 showcase. The game is confirmed for PC via Steam, with no other platforms announced so far. A free demo that covers the opening regions is already live on Steam for anyone who wants to test the mechanics before release.
The one-hit, no-upgrade design has caught the attention of players who enjoy precision action and challenge-focused games, framing Akashic Slingshot as a pure test of reflexes rather than gear. Its wide enemy variety and shape-shifting boss fights give each of the seven regions a distinct identity.
